The 2025 Sherry’s Hope Gala: Giving Hope that Shines

The Sherry’s Hope Gala was held on March 29th, 2025 at the Farm Bureau Expo Center and was a great success that will continue to make an impact for cancer patients in Wilson County (TN) and surrounding communities throughout the year. Gala attendees experienced an evening filled with generosity, inspiration, and celebration! The event featured both a silent and live auction, offering a wide variety of unique items generously donated by local individuals and businesses. The live auction was filled with energy, thanks to auctioneers Josh Kirby, Daniel Pruitt, and Matthew Whitaker and their teams! Guests also experienced a delectable spread of delicious food prepared by Two Fat Men Catering! A new addition to the event was The Charity Trunk Show by The Jewelers, which allowed guests to purchase from a stunning selection of jewelry to benefit Sherry’s Hope! Attendees were also able to take home their memories of the night by visiting the photo booth, which was sponsored by The Hall Group. The emotional highlight of the evening came from cancer survivor and Sherry’s Hope supporter, Renee Hunt, who delivered a heartfelt speech and moving poem that touched everyone in the room. Her words resonated deeply, inspiring attendees with her courage and commitment to the cause. Attendees were fueled by a late-night coffee bar sponsored by Split Bean Coffee Co. and danced the night away with live music by the C-Dock Boyz, whose lively tunes were the perfect finale to such an amazing night!

The Sherry’s Hope Board of Directors and Staff would like to thank the committee that worked so hard to make this event possible. Sherry’s Hope is honored to have so many businesses and individuals pour out their support through this event. In 2024, Sherry’s Hope was able to assist 135 families with over $285,000 of assistance. The funds raised from The Sherry’s Hope Gala will enable Sherry’s Hope to continue the mission of sharing the hope of Christ and offering financial assistance to more families in need who are facing cancer.

Sherry’s Hope Executive Board member, Kevin Bass, stated, “We are blessed with such a great and generous community. Thank you to everyone who sponsored, donated, and volunteered. Your support makes a huge difference in the lives of our neighbors fighting cancer.”
