Sherry’s Run 5K Run/Walk to benefit Sherry’s Hope is held annually on the 2nd Saturday of September.  See the certified 5K course below.

The Sherry’s Run 5K Run/Walk to benefit Sherry’s Hope course begins at the Sherry’s Run 5K Event Site located at 623 West Main Street in Lebanon.  The course will head east on West Main Street, travel north on North Greenwood Street, passing the historic Woolen Mills to U. S. 70 North By-Pass (also known as Baddour Parkway); then heading west on the By-Pass to North Castle Heights Avenue, traveling south to Hill Street.  At Hill Street Walkers have the option to separate and continue down Castle Heights returning to the Sherry’s Run 5K Event Site or they may continue traveling with the Runners as they turn Left onto Hill Street, traveling east.  Participants will turn left onto Hill Street, traveling east again to North Greenwood Street, then south to West Main Street where they will travel west returning to the Runners Finish Line at the Sherry’s Run 5K Event site. Sherry’s Hope (www.sherryshope.org) is a 501 (c) (3) organization.  It was started as a 5K event in memory of Sharon “Sherry” Patterson Whitaker who died at the age of 44 from colon cancer and has grown into a year round organization now called Sherry’s Hope. Donations are tax deductible and can be made online.  Funds received serve to help those locally who suffer with cancer.
