LEBANON, TENN. – July 11, 2013 – Join the Sherry’s Run team and make a difference in the lives of those who are affected by cancer. To make that difference, organizers of Sherry’s Run invite you to form a Team. Run or walk in honor of those you love or in memory of those you have lost.
Sherry’s Run Teams Committee Chair, Ashlee Chance, and her committee are excited about the more than 126 teams who participated last year and look forward to even more this year. According to Chance, “Forming a team is a wonderful way to get involved in a great community event. Even though the actual event lasts only a couple of hours, the spirit lasts all year long. Because of your participation, people in this community and the surrounding communities are being helped 52 weeks a year. Come be a part of the excitement!”
Team Captain “Kickoff” is slated for Tuesday, July 16 at the Sherry’s Run office (located in the back of Maple Hill church of Christ, 102 Maple Hill Road, Lebanon TN) from 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm. Registration forms will be available for those who are unable to register online. We will also hand out posters and be available to answer any questions you might have about organizing your team. Team meetings are open to anyone who is interested in forming a team for your company, family, church, and friends or in honor or memory of a loved one.
Chance, adds “Being a team captain is very easy and is so rewarding knowing that your efforts are truly making a difference in someone’s life that is battling cancer.” You may register your team name online at www.sherrysrun.org. Your team members will be able to simply pick your team name from a drop down menu. As soon as a team member registers, an e-mail will be sent to you.”
We will also have Sherry’s Run retail items available to purchase so come ready to shop for Sherry’s Run!
New for 2013!!
