The Sherry's Hope Gala...Another Great Success

The Sherry’s Hope Gala, formerly Mardi Gras to benefit Sherry’s Hope was held on February 25th and was another tremendous success, raising $233,000. Sherry’s Hope Board of Directors and Staff would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to the volunteer committee who works so hard year after year. We are deeply humbled to be chosen as the beneficiary of the proceeds of this wonderful event. The funds raised will enable our organization to continue our mission of sharing the hope of Christ and offering financial assistance to families in need in Wilson County and surrounding communities who are battling cancer.

Sherry’s Hope Executive Board member, Kevin Bass, stated, “We are beyond grateful for the generosity of all who volunteered, attended and sponsored The Sherry’s Hope Gala; the funds raised will give hope to many local families in the midst of hard times.”

We would like to thank Presenting Sponsor, Zaxby’s, Cocktail Hour Sponsor, Cheers Wine & Liquor, and Guest Speaker Table Host and Faith Sponsor, Gilead Oncology. Other event sponsors who made the night a success include Body Kneads, Etc., Two Fat Men Catering Company, C-Dock Boyz, Pasqua, Hawk Specialty Services, and Creative Graphics. We would also like to acknowledge the members of the 2023 Leadership Wilson Class for their volunteer efforts. Finally, a special thanks to Julie Miller-Wilson for her continued service as Chair of the event as well as the generous Spa package donations which are always a hit at the live auction.  Click here to view 2023 Sherry's Hope Gala Sponsors.
