Paint The Town Green for Sherry’s Run 5K Run/Walk
It’s time to Paint the Town Green in support of the 19th Annual Sherry’s Run 5K Run/Walk to benefit Sherry’s Hope!
Every year our amazing group of volunteers work tirelessly to tie hundreds of beautiful lime green bows which will grace our city’s mailboxes, monuments, fences, light posts and even cars! Not only do the green bows raise awareness for the annual Sherry’s Run 5K Run/Walk event to be held on Saturday, September 10th, but all proceeds from the donations for green bows go to assist families in Wilson County and surrounding communities who are facing a financial hardship due to a cancer diagnosis and treatment.
We invite our community to help Paint the Town Green in support of the Sherry’s Run 5K Run/Walk. Green bows are available by making a minimum donation of $10.00. Stop by the Sherry’s Hope office at 110 Babb Drive in Lebanon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays from 10 am until 2 pm or any Lebanon Wilson Bank and Trust location to make your donation and receive a green bow. Donations for green bows can also be made at the 5K event site, 623 West Main Street, Lebanon, on Thursday, September 8th and Friday, September 9th from 11 am until 7 pm or Saturday, September 10th from 6:30 am until 8 am.
Sherry’s Hope is a Christian, non-profit organization that works throughout the year to provide hope to families battling cancer in Wilson County and surrounding communities by offering emotional encouragement and financial assistance. In addition, Sherry’s Hope works to spread colon health awareness by distributing free colon cancer screening tests and providing colonoscopy assistance.
