Thank you for making a difference in the lives of area cancer patients by being a part of Sherry’s Run. Your support and participation have allowed Sherry’s Run to raise more than $437,000 over the last five years, and it’s only through people like you who donate, participate and volunteer that make it possible to expand our efforts to battle cancer and aid its victims.
Here are some of the ways you’ve helped those affected by cancer in your community through Sherry’s Run.
In Wilson County:
- discounted medical services, PET scans, and perscriptions
- co-pay assistance
- gas cards for traveling to appointments and treatments
- test kits to help with prevention and awareness (more than 1,000 distributed in 2008 as of June 16)
Additional fund donated to:
- American Cancer Society
- Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute
- Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital
Sherry’s Run is a 501(C) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax deductible under section 170 of the code.
Final decisions on the allotment and recipients of funds will be determined by the Board of Directors of Sherry’s Run, and other recipient organizations which have been approved by Sherry’s Run Board of Directors.
