SHERRY’S RUN LIVE AUCTION ITEMS
Condo for one week in Steamboat Springs, Colorado – $2,600 value
Wonderful 2 bedroom unit (sleeps 4) with a spectacular view. Buyer needs to confirm availability with owner. Included with the condo is dinner for 4 at the Smokehouse Restaurant in downtown Steamboat Springs.
World Class Fishing in Alaska – $5,000 plus value
Gary Whitaker will host a fishing adventure in Alaska. John Hunn is coordinating the trip (he may also be able to attend depending on the week chosen). John spent 7 years in Alaska prior to moving to Lebanon. This auction will take four fishermen on a world class fishing trip for 4 nights. After flying into Anchorage you will travel from town to town in a 28 ft motor home. Along the way you will stay in privately owned cabins or a lodge. The first stop will head south for the Kenai River on the Kenai Peninsula. (For info on Kenai visit www.kenaipeninsula.org). From there the trip will turn north to the Little Susitna River. The third destination will be Talkeetna, here you will fish Clear Creek. Talkeetna is nestled at the base of Denali (Mount McKinley), North America’s tallest peak. You will have the opportunity to fish for Red Salmon, Silver Salmon and Late King Salmon. John stated the average size catch should be 6 pounds for Red, 8 pounds for Silver and some of the Late Kings get really big. Make sure you take a cooler to bring home your salmon.
In addition to fishing you will be able to ride in a float plane and view glaciers, ride jet skies, see all types of wild life such as moose, bear, eagles, mountain sheep and much more. Other attractions could include visiting a salmon hatchery and the Alaska Zoo. This is a once in a lifetime adventure for you and three additional friends. This trip will take place during August 2011. Trip dates must be finalized by January 15, 2011.
Airfare (approx $675), fishing licenses (approx $75) and food not included.

The soon to be world famous “Blues Brokers” will perform a live concert for you and your friends anywhere in Wilson County. Concert must be used by August 2011.
