Sherry's Run

Lisa O’Guin of Tennessee Oncology at Lebanon and Summit Hospital, states, “Sherry’s Run helps so many patients in our office with entities not covered by their insurance plans such as gas, drug co-pays, wigs, etc. The stress relief it provides is exemplary and our patients are so grateful.

Several dozen patients are helped each month with the funds that Sherry’s Run provides. If it were not for the event, many of our patients would do without necessities that insurance does not cover but are vital in making chemotherapy possible and tolerable. In fact, many patients express their gratitude and want to give back in September when Sherry’s Run occurs. Family members, friends or co-workers sometimes run in their honor as a way of saying ‘Thank you.’”
